INTRODUCTION: Why Instagram tips don't work (and are even harmful)

You’ve already tried all the “miracle” creams from the commercials. You bought the acids that bloggers praised. You made masks from TikTok recipes. You mixed oils, applied vitamins, tried the “Korean multi-step system.” And your skin… hasn’t changed. Or even gotten worse.

Familiar?

You are not alone. Visit us every day at Ageless Esthetic Center in Truskavets Clients come in with the same story: “I’ve tried everything, but nothing works. I’ve already spent so much money… Maybe there’s something wrong with me?”

And here is what we answer them:

“The problem is not that the remedies “don’t work.” The problem is that you’re treating the wrong thing. And you’re doing it with the wrong remedies.”

Instagram bloggers give universal advice for “everyone.” But your skin — unique. She has her own type, her own condition, her own history, her own genes, her own hormones, her own lifestyle. What helped a blogger with oily skin at 23 can destroy your lipid barrier if you have dry, sensitive skin and you are 35.

Result? You waste money, time and… spoil your skin even more. You go in a circle: new cream → “doesn’t work” → even newer cream → “doesn’t work either” → clay mask from TikTok → “it got worse” → acids from the blog → “your face burns”. And so on without end.

Decision? A consultation with a beautician. Not in an Instagram DM. Not in the comments under a post. But in an office where you will be professionally diagnosed, determined the true cause of the problem (and not guessed “by eye”), and created an individual plan that will work specifically for YOUR skin.

This article is for you if:

You've already tried "everything" but nothing works.
Your skin suddenly got worse and you don't understand why
Are you afraid that it’s “not time” to see a beautician (or maybe it’s already too late?)
You don't know what's wrong with your skin.
You want a procedure but don't know where to start
Are you tired of spending money on products that don't work?
You want to understand what's happening to your skin — FOR REAL

If at least one point is about you, read moreWe will tell you how to understand that time to make an appointment for a consultation with a cosmetologist. And why it is NOT “expensive”, NOT “scary” and NOT “early”.

SIGN #1: Cosmetics from the mass market stopped working (or never worked)

Situation:

You buy cream after cream. At first it seems that “something is working”. The skin becomes softer, smoother. But after 2-3 weeks - the same thing again. Dryness. Or oily sheen. Or acne. Or dullness. Or tightness. Or peeling.

You change brands. “Maybe this one will help? It’s so expensive!” No again. “Okay, I’ll try another one, with acids.” No. “And this one is from dermatologists!” No again.

There are 10 cans on the bathroom shelf. None of them work. You feel disappointment and helplessness.

Why is this happening?

Explanation of the cosmetologist:

Cosmetics from the mass market (pharmacies, supermarkets, even “luxury” brands from TV advertising) are healthy skin care. It supports what is already there. It prevents deterioration. But if you have problem — acne, pigmentation, couperose, first wrinkles, post-acne, rosacea — mass market will NOT solve it. Never.

Why?

1. Low concentration of active ingredients

To prevent allergies in “everyone”, the manufacturer reduces the concentration of active ingredients to a minimum. Cream with vitamin C from the mass market contains 0.5-2% of ascorbic acid. Professional cosmeceuticals — 10-20%. Do you feel the difference? The first — simply “has vitamin C”, the second — works.

2. Universal formulas

Massmarket creates products for “normal” skin, which in reality almost does not exist. Or for “combination” skin — it is an abstraction in general. The result? You buy “for everyone”, and your skin needs “for ME”.

3. Marketing instead of science

Beautiful packaging ≠ effectiveness. You pay for advertising with Monica Bellucci, not for active ingredients. Therefore, a cream for 800 UAH from a pharmacy often does not work better than a cream for 200 UAH.

Real life example:

You buy a “moisturizer” for “dry skin.” But if you DO NOT have dry skin, but dehydrated (they are different things!), this cream will not help. Dry skin needs lipids (oils, ceramides). Dehydrated skin needs hyaluronic acid and water. If you confuse these two conditions, you are buying the wrong one.

What does a cosmetologist do during a consultation:

1. Diagnoses true skin type — not the “dry combo” from the Instagram test, but biochemical type taking into account the work of the sebaceous glands, the level of hydration, the condition of the barrier, and sensitivity.
2. Identifies the PROBLEM, not the symptom — not “pimples,” but reason: hormones? bacteria? nutrition? broken barrier? stress? improper care?
3. Selects cosmeceuticals — is professional cosmetics with clinically proven effectiveness. Not “the best cosmetics”, but and what works for YOUR problem.
4. Draws up a care plan — don't "apply cream morning and evening", but step-by-step program: cleansing → toning → serum → cream → SPF. With specific products. With an explanation of WHY each step.

Real case with Ageless:

Client, 32 years old, Truskavets:

“I spent 15,000 UAH on creams from the pharmacy over 2 years. I bought everything they recommended: La Roche, Vichy, Bioderma, CeraVe. The dryness remained. The skin tightened after washing. I already thought it was genetics and there was nothing I could do.

During the consultation, the beautician examined the skin and said: “You don’t have dry skin, but dehydrated fatty. These are different things! Your skin produces sebum (oil), but it lacks WATER. Therefore, it becomes both oily and tight at the same time.”

She chose a serum with hyaluronic acid and a light fluid (not a thick cream!). The result is in week. The skin stopped tightening. The oiliness decreased. I couldn't believe it.

If I had known earlier… I wouldn’t have spent 15,000 UAH on the “wrong thing.”

🚨 When this is YOUR case:

You buy new products every 2-3 months because “it doesn’t work”
You have 10+ creams on your shelf, but none of them help (or help for a week, then not again)
Your skin doesn’t change even though you’re “doing everything right” (as they say on Instagram!)
You don't know what your skin type is (really don't know, not guessing from an online test)
You spent a lot of money, but there is no result

SIGN #2: The problem returns after “home treatment” (again and again)

Situation:

A pimple. You “cured” it—or rather, covered it with concealer and waited for it to disappear. A week later, another one. And another. And another. You buy rubbing alcohol. It helps for a day. Then again.

Or age spots. You bought a “lightening serum” for 1200 UAH. The spots lightened… and a month later they became even darker. You are in despair.

Or couperose (vascular mesh on the cheeks). You apply a special cream. It disappears, then appears again. You don't understand the pattern.

Or peeling. You put a greasy cream on your skin. It gets better. Then it gets dry again. And so on every day.

Why is this happening?

Explanation of the cosmetologist:

Because you are healing symptom, not reason.

It's like when you have a headache. You take a painkiller. The pain goes away. But if the cause is high blood pressure, the pain will returnWe need to treat the pressure, not just dull the pain.

Same with skin.

Example with acne:

Acne — it's not a "dead time." It could be:

Hormonal imbalance (increased testosterone, thyroid problems, PCOS)
Propionibacterium acnes bacteria (live in pores, cause inflammation)
Disruption of the skin's lipid barrier (due to aggressive cleaning, improper care)
Reaction to cosmetics (comedogenic ingredients, too dense textures)
Gastrointestinal diseases (dysbacteriosis, intestinal inflammation)
Stress (elevated cortisol = inflammation)

If you simply “dry” the pimples with a salon or zinc, the reason remains. And the acne comes back. Again. And again. And you think, “There’s something wrong with me. Why does it work for everyone and not for me?”

Or pigmentation:

You lighten spots with acids or vitamin C. But if melanocytes (cells that produce pigment) are active due to hormones or UV radiation, spots will returnWhat's more, without SPF, they will become even darker in the sun!

Or couperose:

You apply a cream with vitamin K or rutin. But if you continue to eat spicy foods, drink alcohol, or go to the sauna without protection, the blood vessels will dilate again. The cream will not solve the problem.

What does a cosmetologist do during a consultation:

1. Finds out the CAUSE — collects a medical history, asks about lifestyle, nutrition, care, hormones, stress, and chronic diseases.
2. Prescribes comprehensive treatment - not "one cream", but system: cleansing + peeling + proper home care + possibly hormone tests + consultation with an endocrinologist/gastroenterologist.
3. Controls the process — not “buy and forget”, but regular visits with a correction of the scheme. Because the skin changes, and what worked a month ago may not work now.

Real case with Ageless:

Client, 28 years old, Drohobych (came to Truskavets):

“I’ve had acne since I was 18. I thought it was forever. I tried EVERYTHING: Baziron, Skinoren, rubbing alcohol, clay masks, tar, acids, zinc ointment. It helped for a month, then again. I’ve already resigned myself to it.

During the consultation, the beautician asked about my cycle and hormones. I replied that acne appears before my period. She sent me for a hormone test (testosterone, progesterone, estradiol).

Found out increased testosteroneTreatment: gynecologist-endocrinologist (drugs to normalize hormones) + cosmetologist (cleansing + acid peels + proper care without “drying”).

After 6 months — clean skin. For the first time in 10 years. I cried with happiness. If only I had gone to the beautician 5 years earlier…”

🚨 When this is YOUR case:

The problem disappears for 1-2 weeks, then returns (once in a while)
You have been “treated” for six months/a year/5 years, but there is no result
You don't understand WHY you have this problem (genetics? hormones? something else?)
You've already "tried everything" but nothing works for a long time
You're tired of fighting the same thing over and over again.
📞 WHAT TO DO: Sign up for a consultation with a cosmetologist at Ageless Truskavets. We will find the real reason problems (we won't guess, but let's really find out) and we will create a treatment plan so that it does not return.

SIGN #3: Your skin has gotten worse for no apparent reason (and you're panicking)

Situation:

A month ago, everything was fine. You looked in the mirror and thought, “Well, not perfect, but okay.” And now:

Sudden rashes (although you are no longer 16, and adolescence is long gone)
Dryness and flaking (even though you haven't changed your care and it's not winter now)
Redness and irritation (even though you haven't used anything new)
Pigmentation (dark spots suddenly appeared that were never there)
Dull, “gray” complexion (you look tired even though you've had a good night's sleep)
Itching, burning (skin reacts to EVERYTHING, even the usual cream)

You are in a panic. “What happened to my skin?! Why all of a sudden? What did I do wrong? Is this permanent?”

Explanation of the cosmetologist:

Skin is indicator of what is happening INSIDE the body and in the OUTSIDE environment. It is the first to react to changes. Sometimes even before you feel other symptoms.

Sudden changes are alarm signalThe body says: “Attention! Something is wrong!” The reasons may be:

Internal reasons:

Hormonal changes — pregnancy, menopause, changing contraceptives, menstrual irregularities, PCOS, thyroid problems
Disease — Gastrointestinal tract (gastritis, dysbacteriosis), endocrine disorders, immune diseases
Vitamin and mineral deficiency — D (especially in winter), group B, zinc, omega-3, iron
Stress — chronic or acute (elevated cortisol = skin inflammation, barrier disruption)
Medications — antibiotics, hormones, antidepressants (can cause rashes, dryness)

External reasons:

Climate change — moving, winter/summer, dry indoor air due to heating/air conditioning
Improper care — new cream (comedogenic or with allergens), aggressive peeling, excessive cleansing
Insolation — sun without SPF → pigmentation, photoaging, burns
Pollution — urban smog, chlorine in water, work in harmful conditions

The main thing: Don't panic. Don't self-medicate. Not YouTubeNot “let me try another cream, maybe it will work.”

Consultation with a cosmetologist. Quickly. Until the problem becomes chronic.

What does a cosmetologist do during a consultation:

1. Detailed survey — finds out what has changed in the last 1-3 months: hormones? stress? moving? new medications? new cosmetics? nutrition? travel?
2. Professional diagnostics — assesses the condition of the skin: is it really deteriorating, is it psychosomatic (this can happen!), is there inflammation, or is the barrier broken?
3. Action plan — if necessary, refers to other specialists (endocrinologist, gastroenterologist, allergist, gynecologist).
4. SOS care — prescribes means and procedures for quick recovery: soothe, moisturize, restore the barrier, relieve inflammation.

Real case with Ageless:

Client, 35 years old, Lviv (was vacationing in Truskavets, signed up for a consultation):

“After a vacation at the seaside, my face became covered with age spots. I’m in shock. This has NEVER happened before. I started applying everything: acids, vitamin C, whitening creams. It got even worse — my skin turned red and started to burn.

During the consultation, the beautician asked, “Did you use SPF at the beach?” I replied, “Well, sometimes… not always.” She said, “What medications did you take?” Me: “Antibiotics for cystitis.”

It turned out: antibiotics increase skin photosensitivity. Sun + antibiotics + no SPF = pigmentationPlus, I tried to “bleach” it with acids without sun protection — so it got worse.

Treatment: cream with arbutin + peeling course (at a beautician, not at home!) + SPF 50+ daily (even in winter). The spots lightened after 3 months. Without consultation, I would have tried to “bleach” them with lemon from TikTok… and made it even worse.”

🚨 When this is YOUR case:

Skin changes suddenly (within 1-4 weeks) for no apparent reason
You don't understand what happened and why now.
You are afraid that “this is forever” and will not pass.
You want to quickly restore your skin to its original state
You try to “cure” yourself, but it gets worse.
📞 WHAT TO DO: Don't panic. Don't buy 10 new creams. Sign up for a consultation with a cosmetologist at Ageless Truskavets. We will find out the cause, soothe your skin, and restore its healthy appearance.

SIGN #4: You don’t know your true skin type (and therefore buy the “wrong” one)

Situation:

Do you think you have oily skin, because there is shine in the T-zone. You buy “matting” products, washing gels, tonics with alcohol. And the shine becomes even stronger. You are surprised.

Or are you sure that the skin dry, because it “tightens” after washing. You buy a thick nourishing cream with shea butter. And closed comedones (subcutaneous acne) appear. You don't understand.

Or do you have “combined” (that's what it says in Instagram tests). And you don't know what to buy - for dry or oily skin? You buy "for combination skin." It doesn't help.

Why is this happening?

Explanation of the cosmetologist:

Because There are actually more than 4 skin typesAnd Instagram tests are simplification.

Online tests are divided into:

Dry
Fatty
Combined
Normal

It's like diagnosing "you have a stomach ache" instead of "you have gastritis." It's too general.

In fact, there is:

1. Real oily skin (increased sebum secretion due to genetics/hormones, large pores, acne proneness)

2. Dehydrated oily skin (oily on top, but lacking water → shine + feeling of tightness at the same time)

3. Dry skin (genetically low in sebum, thin, prone to early wrinkles)

4. Dehydrated dry skin (dry + also dehydrated → tightness, peeling, sensitivity)

5. Sensitive/reactive skin (reacts to everything: redness, irritation, burning from any new product)

6. Skin with a compromised barrier (due to aggressive care: peels without moisturizing, alcohol-based tonics, excessive cleansing)

7. Atopic skin (prone to dermatitis, eczema, allergies)

8. Mature skin (loss of tone, wrinkles, ptosis — but it can be both dry and oily!)

And that's not all! Skin type can change according to:

Age (oily at 20, dry at 40)
Season (oily in summer, dry in winter)
Hormones (before menstruation - acne, after - normal)
Stress (during stress — rashes and oiliness)
Improper care (the barrier was destroyed - now it is sensitive)

What does a cosmetologist do during a consultation:

1. Professional diagnostics — not a 5-question test, but:

Skin examination in good lighting
Possibly hardware diagnostics (Wood's lamp - highlights pigmentation, bacteria, fungi; dermatoscope - magnifies the image)
Assessment of pores, texture, color, tone, presence of rashes

2. Determines not only the TYPE, but also the CONDITION of the skin:

Dehydrated?
Sensitive?
With a broken barrier?
With signs of photoaging?
With active inflammation?

3. Explains why you were wrong before:

"You thought you were oily, but you were actually dehydrated, so mattifying products didn't work. Your skin produced even more sebum to compensate for the lack of water."

4. Selects care for the RIGHT type:

Not “for combination skin,” but “for dehydrated oily skin with a compromised barrier and acne-prone skin.” Specifically. Individually.

Real case with Ageless:

Client, 26 years old, Truskavets:

“For 10 years I thought I had oily skin. I bought cleansing gels, tonics with alcohol, light creams, mattifying wipes. The shine didn't go away. In the winter, peeling also appeared. I didn't understand: well, it's oily!

At the consultation, the beautician examined my skin and said: “Your skin is DEHYDRATED. It produces sebum to compensate for the lack of water. You dry it with alcohol — it becomes even more oily. It’s a vicious circle.”

She prescribed: a soft sulfate-free gel + moisturizing serum with hyaluronic acid + light cream with ceramides (not thick, but not “for oily skin”).

Through 2 weeks The shine is gone. After a month, my skin is smooth, even, without oiliness or dryness. I am shocked. I have been doing everything wrong for 10 years.”

🚨 When this is YOUR case:

You are not sure about your skin type (you guess, but don't know for sure)
Products “for your type” don’t work (you buy “for oily skin,” but the shine doesn’t go away)
You have signs of several types at the same time (shiny + dry, oily + flaky)
Your skin changes depending on the season/stress/cycle, and you don't know what to do with it
You've already tried products for all types - nothing works
📞 WHAT TO DO: Sign up for a skin diagnosis at Ageless Truskavets. We will determine your true skin type and condition and select the care that it will finally work. Not “for everyone”, but for YOU.

Phone: +38 067 006 3000

SIGN #5: You want a procedure, but don't know where to start (and are afraid of doing the "wrong thing")

Situation:

You see ads on Instagram:

“RF-lifting — a lift without surgery! Minus 10 years!”
“Biorivitalization — hydration from the inside! Skin radiance!”
“Carbon peeling — porcelain skin effect in 1 procedure!”

You want to. You really want to. But you don't know:

What exactly do YOU need? (RF? Biorevitalization? Peeling? Something else?)
Is this safe for your skin? (What if it gets worse?)
Won't the procedure make it worse? (You've read horror stories in the comments)
How much does it cost and how many treatments are needed? (1 treatment or 10?)
Will there be any results at all? (What if you spend your money in vain?)

And you postpone. “Maybe later. When I figure it out.” But you don’t. Because there is too much information, it is contradictory, and you don’t know who to believe.

Why is this happening?

Explanation of the cosmetologist:

This is normal. Cosmetic procedures — tensAnd it is impossible to choose “by eye”.

Example:

You want to “remove wrinkles.” Sounds simple. But the beautician will ask:

What wrinkles? Mimic (appear when smiling - Botox) or static (always visible - fillers or peels)?
What age? 30 years (prevention - light procedures) or 50 (correction - intensive methods are needed)?
What is the condition of the skin? Dehydrated (biorevitalization first) or normal (immediate injections)?
What is the budget? Expensive injections or a course of hardware procedures (cheaper, but longer)?
Are there any contraindications? (Pregnancy, inflammation, oncology, autoimmune diseases)

Without consultation you can:

Choose the wrong procedure (and not get results, be disappointed)
Spending money on things you don't need
To do a procedure that is contraindicated for you (and ruin your skin, cause complications)
Ignore preparation (and get a poor result)

What does a cosmetologist do during a consultation:

1. Clarify your purpose — what exactly is bothering you?

Wrinkles? (What kind? Where?)
Pigmentation? (Old or new?)
Oval face? (Ptosis? Brilliance?)
Acne? (Active or post-acne?)
Dullness? (Dehydration? Photoaging?)

2. Assesses skin condition:

Is she ready for the procedure?
Is preparation necessary? (For example, before peeling - to restore the barrier)
Are there any contraindications?

3. Offers 2-3 options with explanation:

Pros/cons of each procedure
How many treatments are needed?
What result to expect?
How long will the effect last?
Course cost

4. Draws up an individual plan:

Not “one procedure”, but course with a predicted result
Taking into account your budget, time, goals

5. Takes into account contraindications — to be safe and without complications

Real case with Ageless:

Client, 42 years old, Borislav (came to Truskavets):

“I wanted lip fillers like the bloggers on Instagram. I thought my lips got thinner with age.

At the consultation, the beautician examined your face and said: “You don’t need fillers. You have beautiful lips, good volume. But the oval of your face has sunk (ptosis) - because of this, your lips surrender thin. If we inject filler into the lips, they will be “duck-shaped” — unnatural.”

She suggested RF lifting — a course of hardware procedures for lifting the oval. I was hesitant at first (I wanted fillers!), but I obeyed.

The result after 5 procedures — the face tightened, the lips became more expressive, and a clear jaw line appeared. Without injections. Without “duck lips”.

If I had come without a consultation and “just had fillers,” the effect would not have been the same. The lips would have seemed even bigger against the background of a sagging oval. It’s scary to think.”

🚨 When this is YOUR case:

You want a procedure, but you don't know which one (RF? Peeling? Injections?)
You are afraid of “doing it wrong” and ruining your skin
You don't understand the difference between procedures (which is better: peeling or laser? Botox or biorevitalization?)
You want results, not just “trying” (money is not superfluous)
You read the reviews and now you don't understand anything at all (some praise, others scold)
📞 WHAT TO DO: Sign up for a consultation with a cosmetologist at Ageless Truskavets. We will select a procedure that will really solve your problem (not just trendy from Instagram or “what everyone is doing”).

WHAT WILL HAPPEN AT A COSMETOLOGIST CONSULTATION AT AGELESS TRUSKAVETS

Many people are afraid to go to a consultation because they don’t know what to expect. “What if they’re going to sell me something?” “What if it’s going to be long and uncomfortable?” “What if they’re going to tell me that everything is wrong with me?”

Let us explain in detail how the consultation takes place:

STEP 1: History taking (5-10 minutes)

The beautician will ask:

What is bothering you? (Describe in your own words)
How long has the problem been going on? (A week? A year? 10 years?)
What have you tried? (Creams? Procedures? Medications?)
Are there any chronic diseases, allergies, hormonal disorders?
What products are you currently using? (You can bring jars and show them)
Are you taking any medications? (Some affect the skin)
Your lifestyle? (Sleep, stress, nutrition, smoking, alcohol)

Why is this important? To understand the whole picture, not just the “symptom.” The skin is not an isolated system. It is connected to hormones, digestion, immunity, stress.

STEP 2: Skin examination (10-15 minutes)

Beautician:

Assesses skin type and condition (determines true type, hydration level, presence of barrier disorders)
Looks at problem areas (acne, pigmentation, wrinkles, couperose)
Maybe using a Wood's lamp (illuminates with UV light - pigmentation under the skin, bacteria, fungi are visible)
Perhaps using a dermatoscope (magnifies the image - the structure of the skin, pores, blood vessels are visible)

Note: If you come with makeup, the beautician will ask you to remove it (we have products for this).

STEP 3: Diagnosis and explanation (10-15 minutes)

Beautician explains:

What exactly is wrong with your skin (not just “acne,” but “acne due to barrier disruption + bacteria + possibly hormones”)
Why did this happen (the reasons are not guesses, but reasonable hypotheses)
What needs to be done (general plan)
What will happen if you do nothing (so you understand the seriousness)

Importantly: No “medical language.” In simple words. So that you UNDERSTAND, not just nod.

STEP 4: Treatment/Care Plan (10-15 minutes)

A cosmetologist makes up:

Home care plan:

Step by step (cleansing → toner → serum → cream → SPF)
What remedies and when (morning, evening, 2 times a week)
Why these tools (what do they do and why)

Procedure plan (if needed):

What procedures (cleansing, peeling, RF, injections)
How many procedures are in the course (1, 5, 10?)
How often (weekly, once a month?)
What effect to expect (realistic promises)
Course cost (so you understand the budget)

Recommendations:

Nutrition (if necessary, exclude dairy, sweet, spicy foods)
Water (2 liters per day is not a myth)
SPF (even in winter, even in cloudy weather)
Vitamins (if there is a deficiency)
Consultations with other specialists (endocrinologist, gastroenterologist, gynecologist)

STEP 5: Answers to questions (as many as needed)

You can ask allWhat worries you:

Why this procedure?
Can it be cheaper?
Will it hurt?
How long will the result last?
What happens if I don't do the procedures, just the maintenance?

No shame. That's what we're here for.

DURATION: 40-60 minutes (sometimes longer if the case is complex)

WHAT YOU GET:

Understanding what's wrong with your skin (clear, no "maybe")
A concrete action plan (not abstract advice, but step by step)
Care recommendations (with product names or selection principles)
Answers to all questions (without “google it yourself”)
Peace and confidence (that you are doing the right thing)

WHY YOU SHOULD NOT POSTPONE A COSMETIC CONSULTATION

“I’m still young, it’s too early for me to see a beautician”

FACT: A cosmetologist is not only an “anti-age” for 50+. It is:

Acne treatment (teens, 20+, 30+)
Problem skin care
Prevention of early wrinkles (it is better to start at 25 than to correct at 40)
Pigmentation (may appear in your 20s)
Couperose (may be genetic)

The earlier you start, the better your skin will look at 40-50 years old. This is an investment in the future.

“I’m afraid I’ll be “sucked in” by expensive procedures”

FACT: At Ageless, we don't "pair up." We offer what really needIf home care is possible, we will say so. If procedures are needed, we will explain. Why and what will happen if you don't do it.

Our reputation is more important than one sold procedure.

“I'll try another cream, maybe it will help”

FACT: If you have already “tried” for half a year/a year/5 years, it won’t work. Consulting a beautician will save you money. time, money and nerves. And skin.

“I still read on the internet”

FACT: The Internet provides general information “for everyone.” A cosmetologist provides individual solution for YOUR skin, taking into account your age, type, problems, condition, hormones, lifestyle.

“It is expensive”

FACT: Expensive is spending 15,000 UAH over 2 years on creams that don't work. A consultation with a cosmetologist + proper care is a savings in the long run.

It's okay. Consultation is information. The decision is always yours. We don’t pressure, we don’t “steam” you, we don’t call you with reminders.

11. Do I need to prepare for the consultation?

No. Just come. Preferably without makeup (or be prepared to wash it off). If you have tests, bring them.

12. Can I go to counseling with a teenager?

Yes. If the teenager is 14-16 years old, it is better with parents. If 16+, you can do it alone.

13. Are there any contraindications to the consultation?

None. A consultation is simply an examination and conversation. Contraindications include: procedures, but not before the consultation.

14. Can pregnant women come for a consultation?

Yes. Pregnancy is not a contraindication to a consultation. However, some procedures are not recommended for pregnant women - the beautician will tell you about this.

15. What to do after the consultation?

Follow the recommendations:

Buy the prescribed products (the beautician will provide a list or names)
Sign up for procedures (if scheduled)
Take tests (if necessary)
Come for a repeat examination in 2-4 weeks (to assess the dynamics)
